GEM MINT VENDING

About Gem Mint Vending

Tulsa, OK

Gem Mint Vending puts real, licensed Pokémon TCG product where people already are — right now, that's a couple of boba shops around Tulsa. Drop a few dollars in the machine and you can walk out with singles, a sealed pack, or a $5 guaranteed-hit repack (15 bulk commons plus one guaranteed Double Rare EX or better). We also run a small online shop for exclusive drops that don't fit in the machines.

Who's Behind It

Gem Mint Vending is run by one person — not a franchise, not a chain. I source, grade, price, stock, and restock every machine myself, and I answer the emails too. That means slower growth than a VC-backed startup, but it also means every card that goes in a machine has actually been looked at by someone who cares whether it's a fair deal.

How We Think About This

I'm methodical about this business, not hype-driven. No fake countdowns, no "only 2 left!!" pressure tactics, no inflated "market value" pricing. Prices reflect what the cards are actually worth and what the machines cost to stock and run. If a repack says guaranteed hit, it's guaranteed — that's the whole point of a $5 repack, and cutting corners on it isn't worth the trust it would cost.

I think of this as a real, investor-minded business: reinvest in inventory, prove out a location before expanding, keep the numbers honest, and grow one machine at a time rather than overextending. The plan is more machines in more Tulsa spots over time — not because "more locations" sounds good on paper, but because each one only gets added once the last one's working.

Tulsa, For Real

This isn't a dropshipping operation with a Tulsa address slapped on for local-SEO points. The machines are physically here, I stock them myself, and the boba shops hosting them are real local businesses. If you run a shop in Tulsa and think a machine might fit — comic shop, barbershop, laundromat, wherever people wait around for a few minutes — reach out through the contact page.

Community First

Beyond the machines, there's a Trade Board for collectors to post have/want trades with each other, a Community Wall for sharing pulls and machine visits, and a recurring giveaway. None of it is required to buy from a machine — it's just here because a good local hobby scene is worth building, not just selling into.
